Digestive Enzymes
Our bodies need digestive enzymes in order to break food down food into absorbable nutrients. If you have gas, bloating, undigested food in stools, oil floating in toilet after use, and nausea, you may be an ideal candidate for supplementing with TriEnza Digestive Enzymes.
TriEnza Digestive Enzymes are Ideal for Those with:
½ Pancreas Issues
½ Intestinal Damage
½ Celiac Disease
½ Crohn's Disease
½ Low Grade Intestinal Inflammation
½ Leaky Gut
½ Food Allergies
½ Low Stomach Acid
½ Anyone with Chronic Stress
Houston Enzyme's TriEnza Digestive Intolerances Enzyme combines the AFP Peptizyde, Zyme Prime, and No-Fenol into one broad-spectrum formulation.
Each two (2) Capsules or four (4) Chewable Tablets Contain:
½ All the protease enzymes for protein digestion from AFP Peptizyde
½ All the enzymes (except some cellulase) for carbohydrates, starches, proteins, and fats from Zyme Prime
½ Half (1/2) the enzymes from No-Fenol (xylanase) for certain fruits and vegetables high in phenols
½ Capsules contain 1 mg of MCT oil that is added per 600 mg as an excipient to prevent the enzyme powder from becoming airborne. MCT oil is derived from palm kernel oil.
Because each capsule is one-half of a dose, starting enzymes is easier because the capsule does not need to be split.
TriEnza Digestive Intolerances Enzyme Works Well for:
TriEnza provides digestion support for multiple types of foods. Anyone who already uses at least two of Houston Enzyme's AFP Peptizyde, Zyme Prime, and No-Fenol supplements will see a cost-savings by using the TriEnza Enzyme. This is a vegan-friendly supplement.
TriEnza Contraindications
In cases of active stomach or duodenal ulcers, severe bowel inflammation (blood in stools), hemophilia and other bleeding disorders, or within a week of scheduled surgery, TriEnza should be taken with care. It may not be appropriate for those with known allergies to Aspergillus enzyme proteins to take TriEnza, although non-specific mold allergies do not necessarily preclude the use of fungal enzymes. For further advice, consult a medical doctor, and err on the side of caution. Those who have known anaphylactic allergic reactions to fungal proteins should not ingest fungal-derived enzymes.
TriEnza Dosage
Capsules
Take 2 capsules per day as needed with a meal. No upper limits have been established for enzyme dosing, but animal studies with similar enzymes show that there is no toxicity at dosing as high as 2000 milligrams per kilogram of body weight per day for 90 days. Most people find that using 2 to 4 capsules per meal is adequate. More than likely, no further benefits will occur with higher dosing, although more may be given for infrequent and large food challenges. Houston Enzymes encourages experimentation with the dosage to find the best results.
Chewable Tablets
Each TriEnza Chewable Tablet equals 1/2 capsule, so 4 tablets would be equivalent to dosing with 2 capsules.
Powder
Mix 584 mg. (approximately 1/4 teaspoon or slightly heaping scoopful using enclosed scoop) with food or drink before each meal. The 584 mg dose is equal to 1/4 teaspoons or 2 capsules of TriEnza. More can be taken as desired. Be careful to not inhale the enzyme powder.
How to Administer Enzymes to Children
Enzymes can be mixed with food and drinks, which is ideal when giving the digestive enzyme to children and infants. Simply open the enzyme capsule and sprinkle the contents into a small amount of juice, making a paste. Once the mixture has been thoroughly mixed, more juice can be added. Since orange juice is cloudy, the child will not see the mixture and will not taste the mixture either. The enzyme can also be mixed with jelly, honey, syrup, ghee butter, and almond butter. Even at room temperature, the enzymes will stay stable for up to 6 hours after mixing without loss of activity.
Do not use if the tamper-proof seal is broken. Keep the container closed and store enzymes at room temperature or in a freezer, but do not place in the refrigerator due to humid conditions.
