Wedged Foam Wheelchair Cushions include tie cords that secure the wedge to the wheelchair frame. These cords must be secured in order to prevent the wedge from slipping off the wheelchair seat.

In order to help residents maintain proper sitting posture and body alignment, they should be repositioned periodically. Two-Toned wedges help caregivers keep track of positioning protocol using a visual reminder to check and reposition residents. With a black and a yellow surface, prescribed hours can be kept track of by flipping between colored sides. Nurse supervisors can easily determine if repositioning protocols are being followed. All vinyl-covered, soft foundation wedges are supplied with two-color surfaces. The same is true of wedges with cloth outer covers, vinyl inner covers, foam filling, and soft foundations. Remove the cloth covers if you want to use the two-color surfaces.

Wedged Foam Wheelchair Cushion Care Instructions:
Polyester covers can be laundered and dried at temperatures up to 180 degrees C. Bleach is not recommended. Vinyl covers can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
