Rehabmart-Employee tested, Geo-Matt Contour Wheelchair Cushions are designed using cross cut supportive foam cells that move independently of each other to provide individualized pressure distribution. Heat is channeled through the exclusive "Ring-of-Air" inside the cushion, preventing moisture build-up caused by perspiration.

The lightweight and comfortable wheelchair cushion has a sling-fill base that can be filled with Span America's optional ABS plastic molded ribs that creates a firm base and prevents sagging. An incontinent-proof coating covers the cushion, and you can choose from a deluxe cover with supple stretch fabric or the anti-slip cover with vinyl/nylon.

Similar to Span America's Geo Matt Pressure Reducing Mattress Overlays, Geo-Matt Contour Wheelchair Cushions are made with individually responsive foam air cells that absorbs pressure. To help regulate temperature, a Ring-of-Air directs heat away from the wheelchair use. This feature helps minimize perspiration, which also helps to maintain skin integrity.

Pocket for Sling-Fill Base
The built-in sleeve in the bottom of the cover holds an optional molded Sling-Fill base. The Sling-Fill actually fills in the gap that is created by wheelchair fabric sling seats. This creates a rigid and flat base that the soft cushion sits on top of, and prevents the cushion from sagging in the middle.

Durafilm (tm) Coating
All Geo-Matt Contour Wheelchair Cushions models are encased in a wipe-clean Durafilm (tm) coating that protects the inner cushion against spills and incontinence issues. This exclusive Span-America feature fuses to the cushion's foam surface and can be wiped clean. Durafilm, which is lightweight and does not affect the cushion's feel, permanently protects the cushion and increases its lifespan.

Pelvic "Bucketing" Leg Channels
The Geo-Matt is made with a firmer base that includes leg channels, abduction/adduction build-up, and pelvic bucketing to improve alignment of the spine and lower extremities. This contouring is particularly useful to prevent slouching while encouraging a more upright posture.

Deluxe Cover
A stretchable cover made with durable Cordura½® nylon is included with each Geo-Matt Contour Wheelchair Cushion. This soft top cover prevents skin shearing caused by friction, helping to preserve skin integrity.

Anti-Slip Cover
An anti-slip cover is also available. This cover is made with a vinyl bottom, non-slip bottom and a nylon top that reduces friction between the cushion and wheelchair user, helping to prevent skin shearing.
