The
VeinSight VS400 is a lightweight, hand-held vein finder that brings the power of near-infrared imaging to your fingertips. Patients and medical professionals alike know well the frustrations and discomfort that comes with difficult-to-find veins when attempting to draw blood or set up an IV. With this user-friendly, remote-like device, clinicians can now quickly and easily visualize veins, making the venipuncture process less painful and troublesome for both parties.
The
VeinSight VS400 can also be used to assist cosmetic procedures, showing clinicians where veins reside to avoid possible fluid migration and reduce bruising. Vascular procedures such as the treatment of spider veins often require identifying deeper-lying or smaller veins than those that reside at the surface; the fine mode on the VS400 is specifically designed to make these finer veins more visible for assessment and treatment.
Five different projection colors allow the VS400 to accommodate any skin tone; these can be cycled through at the press of a button so clinicians can go through all five quickly in order to choose the one with the highest visibility for the current patient. The projection field can be set to three different sizes to target the desired area by similarly cycling through with the press of a button. The last adjustable feature of the VS400 is the inverse button that allows clinicians to switch the image into negative, meaning the view field is dark and the veins are highlighted with the chosen color, as opposed to the positive image of a colored view field with dark veins.
The
VeinSight VS400 comes with a charging station that plugs into a standard outlet. A small LED light on the charger will light up when the device is charging, and switch to green when fully charged. To operate the viewer, users switch the main power switch up for on and then press the center power button once. While the device is on, users can easily set it to standby by just pressing the power button once, and then turning it back on by pressing the power button again. To turn the device off, press and hold the power button until the light goes out, and then switch the main power switch down for off. Four surrounding buttons control the color, size, inverse, and brightness of the view field.
Users can also choose to purchase a wheeled mobile stand or a fixed stand that holds the viewer in place so clinicians can have both hands free during use.
Real-time vein image projection reduces the chance that a vein will be missed during puncture due to reduced shadows and latency caused by an updated algorithm.
Unique RMIF (Real Multi-Exposure Image Fusion) image processing technology greatly improves the image refresh rate and solves the problem of blood vessel tracking, allowing the unit to clearly monitor the flow of blood flowing through the patient's vein.
PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) dimming technology allows the user to adjust the brightness of the image according to the needs of the .actual medical environment resulting in optimal visual experience. This feature minimizes the visual fatigue of the medical staff.
Multi-degree of freedom series attitude adjustment mechanism:
The precise multi-degree-of-freedom mechanism design allows for wand adjustment at any position. Infinite angle wand positioning allows for proper distance between patient and wand while freeing the hands of the medical technician. This prevents patient movement allowing the technician to fully concentrate on the medical procedure.
Battery Life:
Ultra-low power consumption equals an even longer battery life coupled with a powerful battery that can continuously power the device for 5 hours after a single charge. The
VeinSight VS400 has the longest-lasting battery on the vein finder market today. This is important for everyday use due to its consistent use on patients coming in throughout the day. Using advanced low-power hardware design, the power consumption of the VS400 is only 1/3 of similar products. Equipped with an intelligent power management system, the unit obtains long-lasting battery life, which solves the problem of overheating which can reduce battery life.
