Product Overview:

The Grafco Hematocrit Centrifuge is a phlebotomy diagnostic tool that uses centrifugation to measure the ratio of red blood cells in the blood. To use, the hematocrit tube is filled with anticoagulated whole blood, with one end sealed by heat or insertion into a sealing clay and then centrifuged. Interpretation of the resulting Volume of Packed Red Cells (VPRC) may then be used to detect the presence of anemia or polycythemia. The Grafco Hematocrit Centrifuge uses a digital timer and the unit loads at a fixed speed. It can hold up to 24 1.2mm capillary tubes.
