The Tri Swim Swimming Aid provides additional support to users who have basic swimming skills. Easily remove the swim aid using the quick-release waist strap feature. Intended for those who have some swimming skills, Tri Swim Swimming Aid provides supplementary support and a moderate amount of lift to aid in maintaining the body in a traditional swim position. This Aquatic Therapy device accommodates different swimming levels. It is constructed of Ensolite® Marine Flotation Foam that is designed not to sink or absorb water, even if punctured or cut. The Ensolite® Foam is design to retain body heat. Each piece of the Tri Swim Swimming Aid is triple coated with a durable vinyl bright yellow finish for high visibility in the water. The Tri Swim Swimming Aid is also equipped with rainbow polypropylene webbing and tough nylon buckles that resist chlorine and salt water corrosion. This Tri Swim Swimming Aid is easy to clean by hand, using mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners.

In order to help decide on the type of equipment and the appropriate size for the individual, here are a few basic considerations:
  • Amount of spasticity/rigidity exhibited.
  • Amount of trunk and head control that the individual exhibits.
  • Age, weight and amount of body fat that contributes to natural buoyancy.
  • Individual's medical condition, considering the type and severity of the disability.
  • Teaching goals which are desired i.e. maximum or minimum flotation for full range of motion in the extremities.
