The TLC Hip Abduction Brace provides the comfortable support after a hip replacement surgery or hip dislocation that is recommended by many therapists. Available in many sizes this unisex brace can be used by a wide array of patients with adjustable components. The TLC buckle closure system also allows for a perfect fit every time so that readjustments are not needed. Adjusts with only an Allen wrench. Ships fully assembled for wear. Individual parts are sold here in addition to the full brace known as a "complete". The TLC Universal Complete comes with a set of pelvic, thigh, and joint bands. More information on sizing and components is below. All components fit either left or right leg.

More Information

Available in prefabricated, modular stock sizes*, the TLC Hip Abduction brace is made from MPE in a unisex design. The universal pelvic band is adjustable for hip development and pelvic circumference with quick release buckle closure. The universal thigh cuff has a unique bivalve design that is adjustable to thigh proximal and distal measurements. The breathable liner is washable and absorbs perspiration while reducing heat buildup. The TLC hip joint has infinite abduction/adduction and flexion/extension settings. The options and accessories include a joint cover for comfort or protection and spacer kit to outset the joint 1/4 inch. Includes all hardware. All items will fit either leg!

*What if the modular stock sizes do not fit me?
If the user's measurements for either the waist, hip, or thighs fall outside of the ranges shown in the chart below within a particular size, do not order a modular stock size. For example, if all measurements fell within the ranges shown for the size small, with the exception of the waist, a size small would not fit that user. A pelvic band would be ordered in that case (in the size range needed), along with a size small in thigh and appropriate length of joint.

What is a space kit and what is its purpose?

Answer: This is a plastic spacer that goes between the metal hip joint and hip joint attachment on the brace to provide a bit more horizontal separation from the hip. This is especially ideal for patients that have excess soft tissue or fat in the hip area.

Im very interested
Hello RehabMart: Im resurching for a pair of THKAFOs for both legs as my medical condition and aging gets more problematic. Both upper and lower legs/hips to my feet are affected. Do you measure make and fit, THKAFO braces? Thank You Josie
