Answer: There are two pads in this product, one on each side of the hips. There are no replacement pads available; they are designed for long-term use.

I have a pin in my left hip and arthritis. I am also a right-handed bowler and that puts a lot of stress on the left hip. I purchased the Therapeutic Hip Support according to the sizing instructions which I verified by email. I was hoping the support would supply some compression. It did not. The support itself stretched out within an hour and the legs would not stay down. To be fair, the write up did not say anything about compression. The pads are comfortable.
