The STAR Standard Contour Air Cell Wheelchair Cushion provides ideal comfort and tissue protection through four-inch high individual air cell technology. Air cells provide a high level of pressure reduction through deep immersion to ensure optimal tissue protection as well as relief from and reduced formation of pressure ulcers. Cells move and conform to each user½s body with adjustable air pressure and configurations that accommodate a wide variety of user needs and seat designs.
Each cushion is constructed with durable, high-quality neoprene that is flame-resistant and latex-free to ensure longevity. Cushions come complete with a fitted cover, hand pump, and repair kit to ensure convenience and comfort. The cushion cover is low-shear, low-friction for improved comfort and skin protection to aid in healing and preventing pressure sores up to a Stage IV level of severity. Cushions are available in a range of sizes for both adults and pediatric users, and are available in dual and four valves compartment to effectively address seating challenges such as pelvic obliquities and sacral sitting as well as enhance posture control and to improve overall function. Cushions are covered by a 24-month warranty through the manufacturer.
