Special Tomato Large MPS Car Seating System

The Special Tomato Large MPS Car Seating System offers customizable comfort and support that can grow with your child, offering the same benefits of the standard MPS system in a convenient car seat design. This system has been thoroughly crash-tested to ensure maximum safety for your child, compliant with FMVSS213 and approved by the FAA for aircraft travel to enable utility.

The soft touch cushions are installed with a hook and latch system that allows them to be adjusted and repositioned for customizable support that grows with your child to support them for several years even while their bodies are growing and changing. These cushions are uniquely designed to remain cool against the skin for a non-stick surface that reduces discomfort and skin shear through long sitting periods. These cushions are also antimicrobial and fluid-impermeable for easy cleaning and improved hygiene.

This car seat allows 30 degrees of pivot as well as 15 degrees of hip flexion and 15 degrees of hip extension to facilitate proper pelvic alignment for improved comfort and support.

Please Note: NHSTA School Bus Rules/Regulations do not include special needs car seat regulations for children over 40 lbs. The MPS Car Seat is not tested for installation directly into a school bus seat. Please note that we do offer the Push Chair Kit which conforms to WC19 standards for use with a tie down system in transport. The Car Seat does not come with a Footrest. The Footrest cannot be used while the seat is being used in a vehicle. The Car Seat cannot be used in Canada. Footrests can be added for other uses and are offered in the optional accessories link.

There is a 10-year Expiration Date for the MPS Car Seat and the MPS Push Chair Kits for use during transportation. The MPS Seat itself can be used beyond 10 years with the Wooden Mobile Base or attached to a standard chair for more than 10 years.
