Two-in-One Design
The Rifton E-Pacer combines an electric lift with gait training capabilities, allowing for less transfer to other pieces of equipment. The E-Pacer is a great and safe alternative for those that are heavy or tall for manual gait trainers. Putting less strain on caretakers greatly reduces the risk of accidents in both the client and the caregiver.
Transfers with Ease
The Rifton E-Pacer can use thigh straps to move a client from a wheelchair to another seated position or to a floor with conveniently and comfortably. The thigh straps can also be used to raise to a standing position. With an innovative design, a single buckle secures the patient, reducing the amount of work a caregiver has to do. The E-Pacer can raise high enough to support somebody 6'5" and then retracts to a height of 32-3/4" for easy storage and travel.
Benefits for the Caregiver
The Rifton E-Pacer is able to perform sit to stand transfers with no lifting required on the part of the caretaker. The power E-Pacer provides complete security, even for heavy or tall patients. The four casters can be locked from swiveling, brakes set, and a direction lock and variable drag to accommodate specific clients to fit any need. The variable drag gives control over the speed the wheels move while the directional lock prevents the client from moving backward. Both can easily be changed on the caster. The base legs widen for users that need help with extra width for walking or to help with a lift from a wheelchair. A 26" height adjustment accommodates tall patients.
