The Puzzle Assistive Technology Communicators consist of a communication base and five individual talking puzzles.
Each puzzle piece "talks' when it is removed from the puzzle to explain what it is. For example, a puzzle piece of a dog, when lifted from the puzzle, will announce a customized pre-recorded message such as "This is a Dog" and the recorded messages can be changed at any time, for example, "This is a dog sitting down."
Each puzzle piece of the five puzzles can have customized recorded messages and the communicator base can store five levels of messages with a total recording time of 300 seconds.
The 13" long by 12" wide by 5" high communicator assistive device is ideal for children and adults with speech difficulties or cognitive difficulties to help improve or rehabilitate their communication skills as well as to help teach object recognition and cause-and-effect behavior with verbal reinforcement.
