The 32 Message Assistive Technology Communicator is an AAC assistive technology device can be used in schools, homes, and therapy settings by a variety of skill and age levels. Whether used as a teaching tool to teach object discrimination skills or for non-verbal special needs children for interacting and communicating with others, this easy-to-use communication device is an effective tool. For beginners, single words can be used to communicate, but as abilities increase, multiple words can be strung together to communicate more complete sentences.
By lightly pressing on the icons, a pre-recorded message will play back. Each icon measures 1 7/8" x 1 7/8". Adjustable legs on the back make it possible to lay the communicator down or prop it up. A carry handle on the top and a shoulder strap are included for easy carrying of the Communicator.
A level dial, record button, microphone, and speaker are included on the back of the unit. A printed icon maker is also available from Enabling Devices that allows for making more icon pages.
