The Protekt 300 Pressure Relieving Foam Mattress is a multi-tiered pressure redistribution mattress. The top layer of die-cut high-density foam in the head and torso section and an exceptionally resilient foam in the heel section provide an unparalleled pressure redistribution support surface. The middle layer of the heel section has air channel cut foam, which provides additional pressure redistribution and air circulation in the heel area.
The PTSS Rail System provides additional support, allowing easy patient transfer and the edge of bed sitting. The PTSS is a side rail that is flush with the top of the mattress. This side rail is comprised of a much firmer foam that assists ingress and egress from the mattress by adding support to the patient and helping to prevent falls.
The top cover is constructed of 4-way stretch nylon that reduces perspiration and provides an anti-microbial and water-resistant low shear friction surface. An anti-contamination flap covers the zipper, reducing the possibility of fluids contaminating the foam core. The mattress has designated head and foot sections for easy setup.
The fire sleeve cover meets the standards set by Federal Fire Code 16 CFR part 1633. The Protekt 300 Pressure Relieving Foam Mattress has a weight capacity of 350 lbs and a 7 year, non-prorated warranty.
