The Procare MaxTrax Walker is designed with a wider foot bed to provide patients with additional comfort and stability after a lower leg, foot, or ankle trauma and post-operative procedures. It is constructed with a low profile design and a rocker bottom to help promote natural gait and to reduce any plantar pressure that the patient may be experiencing. This walking cast is equipped with a cushioned inner and outer sole to provide additional shock absorption to help promote the patients comfort during ambulation. The liner of the Procare MaxTrax Walker is constructed of a soft nylon foam to ensure the patient that no seams are in critical post-surgical areas. The Procare MaxTrax Walker has malleable uprights that breakdown on the standard height walkers so that it may accommodate patients with a shorter tibia and fibula. This walking cast is ideal for the treatment of metatarsal fractures, acute ankle sprains, bunionectomies, stress and stable fractures of the foot.
