Shoebaum is equipped with an Independent Shock Absorbing system that reduces the impact of the gait on injuries, promoting the fast recovery of soft tissue trauma and stable fractures. Shoebaum serves as the most advanced post-operative immobilization device. The walking boot also assists those who suffer from diabetic neuropathies by substantially reducing the impact and compression of the micro-vascular structures of the foot and ankle.
The slots throughout the shin plate and the hard part of the cast are actually vents, these vents allow for air to flow through the sock allowing it to breathe providing comfort to the patient. The Velcro straps provide fast and easy adjustment to contribute comfort and convenience to the patient. On the toe instead of the traditional open end, the Shoebaum provides a removable toe bumper. The removable toe bumper adds a level of protection to the toes of the injured foot. Having front access to the foot allows practitioners to examine any possible wounds without having to move the area extensively. This not only provides the patient with an additional level of comfort, but allows the area to remain resting.
The Shoebaum reduces the impact of ambulation resulting in a more stable and stress free environment for the immobilized foot. This boot is recommended generally for stable fractures and injuries where soft tissue is involved. The Shoebaum promotes accelerated recovery time, as the three module shock absorbers reduce the limp of the patient during his/her rehabilitation. The EVA sole reduces the shock that is felt directly by the foot during use.
Features & Benefits:
