More Information

Southpaw's Platform and 2-in-1 Climbing Steps help diagnose and treat abnormal crawling and gait patterns in pediatric clients. There are a variety of conditions that affect gross motor skills, such as crawling and walking. Children with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), autism, and ADHD have dysfunctional sensory systems, which can cause dizziness and loss of balance. Exercise-based occupational therapy can address these symptoms with vestibular and proprioceptive stimulation that improves bilateral coordination and motor planning skills. Therapists can use the Platform and 2-in-1 Climbing Steps to assess improvements in walking and crawling during sensory integration therapy.
