NexTemp Single-Use Individually Wrapped Thermometers are disposable clinical thermometers used for applications that require high-accuracy and excellent infection prevention properties. Each unit is individually wrapped and intended for single patient use. Single use, disposable thermometers dramatically reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination that can expose patients to infections such as C difficile, MRSA, Norovirus, and Rota virus. These infections are easily spread through casual person-to-person and object-to-person contact. NexTemp Single-Use Individually Wrapped Thermometers circumvent this risk by eliminating the handling and use of reusable equipment (which often carries infectious disease) and by providing a clean instrument that is used with a single patient and then discarded.
Medical professionals have used NexTemp for over 25 years in acute care hospitals, physician offices, dialysis centers, clinics and long term care facilities. It is a proven medical device that is used around the world. NexTemp is US FDA listed; is manufactured under Quality System ISO 13485 (2003); carries a CE Mark; and conforms to ASTM E 1299-96 specifications. All product manufacturing is performed in the United States.
Each case of NexTemp Single-Use Individually Wrapped Thermometers contains 2000 thermometers, packed in 20 boxes containing 100 units each. NexTemp color-change thermometers have been proven under strict clinical conditions and meet stringent ASTM accuracy requirements.
NexTemp Thermometers provide a fast and accurate reading in one minute.
NexTemp Single-Use Individually Wrapped Thermometers can measure both oral and axillary body temperatures in the range of 96 degrees F to 104.8 degrees F/35.5 degrees C. Although NexTemp thermometers may appear simplistic, its accuracy is the same as, or better than other thermometers commonly used in a healthcare setting. Each of the "dots" has its own formulated temperature point that "fires" at a specific temperature. When a temperature point (dot) fires, its color changes from green to black. The number of temperature dots that fire depends upon the patient's temperature. The last black dot will indicate the patient's oral or axillary temperature reading to an accuracy of plus or minus .2 degrees F/.1 degrees C.

To Use: Unwrap the thermometer and place the thermometer in the patient's mouth; wait one minute; remove the thermometer; read the temperature scale immediately, looking for the last black dot; discard when finished. Axillary (underarm) temperature measurements can be taken using this thermometer, leaving it in place for 3 minutes.
Each Cases contain 2,000 thermometers, packed in 20 boxes of 100 units each.
