MIKROFIX Rolls and MIKROFIX Kits take orthoses or SoftKIT padding systems the last mile to ensure that they are perfectly contoured to the necessary body part to ensure the highest level of functionality. They are made from an ultra-thin high strength hook material that quickly and easily secures orthoses to the body for all-day usage or periodic high activity use through its pressure-sensitive backing. It is highly suggested to use MikroFix when using orthoses to take advantage of all the benefits that orthoses can allow for.
In addition to rolls and pre-cut kits, WedgeKIT may also be used for correcting and adjusting medial & lateral slopes when fitting an Allard AFO or other orthosis fabrication. Made from EVA foam backed with a pressure-sensitive adhesive similar to the one MikroFix is made from, the kits come with one lateral wedge and 3 heel wedges to allow for the most comfortable orthosis fit.
