How do I adjust the angle of the tiller on my Pioneer 9?
Answer: The tiller angle can be adjusted by locating the angle adjusting lever which is located on the inside center of the tiller boot. Hold the weight of the tiller with one hand and then loosen the lever by pulling upon it with the other hand. Pushing it down will release the tiller locking mechanism, enabling you to move the tiller more freely. Finally, release the lever and try to move the tiller back and forth slightly to make sure that the lever is locked.

Answer: Yes, this scooter features a manual free-wheel mode for manual operation. This is done by turning the key switch off and locating the free-wheel lever at the back, the right side of the scooter, near the wheel.
