Medline Kidz Pediatric Wheelchair

The Medline Kidz Pediatric Wheelchair features a seat that is designed with the comfort and safety of our children in mind. On some models, above the seat at the top of the wheelchair, there lies a pair of telescopic handlebars. These handlebars are height adjustable for your preferred height, and each handle is padded with a contoured design for ergonomic handling.

The backrest upholstery is constructed with durable vinyl or nylon, and it has an embroidered smiley face in the top center. Vinyl is waterproof, easy to wipe clean, and comfortable enough to support the body for hours on end. Underneath the upholstery is a thick padded material, which prevents pressure ulcers and other means of discomfort.

Both arms flip backward. This can be helpful if the patient has limited mobility and needs assistance transferring in and out of their wheelchair. In addition to dynamic armrests, the leg rests with calf pads are fully detachable and adjustable.

The tires are treaded and flat-free so you can travel safely with enough of a grip on the floor to keep you stable. The standard dual-axle gives the user easy adjustment of the seat height to a hemi-level. This hemi-level is beneficial because it allows the user to move the wheelchair with their feet if need be. It also makes it easier to get in and out of if the patient has a shorter standing height.

There are additional accessories available to add on to your wheelchair, that can be easily installed after the purchase of the main chair in case you want to come back and purchase them later, these include an Oxygen tank holder, an IV pole, a combo IV pole and oxygen tank, and Tinnerman leg-rest locks.
