More Information

Easy to Control
Golden's Literider Envy Power Mobility Chair is controlled with a joystick that displays the speed, battery life and includes a horn. Perfect for compact spaces, the mobility power scooter features superior maneuverability, especially in compact spaces. Its stadium-style chair is comfortable but because of its narrow design, it fits through doorways and other tight spaces easily. With non-scuff tires, the Envy can move over a variety of terrains, both indoors and out.

Easy to Assemble and Disassemble
The Envy breaks down into 4 lightweight parts that can easily be loaded and unloaded from the trunk of a vehicle. Because the heaviest part weighs just 35 lbs, the need to purchase an expensive lift for transporting the wheelchair is eliminated. To disassemble, the seat can be folded down and removed. The wheels can then be detached, and the batteries can be pulled out for easy charging.

Long Operating Range
The Envy includes two 22 amp batteries that make it possible to travel up to 15 miles per charge. With the ability to easily remove the batteries from the scooter, the battery can be the only part brought into the house when charging is needed.

Superior Comfort
Although the Envy Power Scooter features a compact design, it does not sacrifice comfort. A full-sized stadium-style seat covered in durable vinyl provides comfortable support. A basket underneath the seat provides convenient storage for personal items. There is also a storage pouch located on the back of the seat.

I have had two of these chairs and I have been using this one and getting stuff done with it since 2018 and since 2015 with one before it. I have been able to load and unload it to and from work, and I love it! I've looked at more of folding ones, and the weight is an issue with those. Those come with the assumption that you have someone big and strong to deal with it and I like to be independent. With this one, the battery box is the heaviest part of the whole thing.
I needed a chair I could load and unload from my car while I was sitting in the car and this was perfect. The biggest thing I liked about this was the ability to load and unload, but I also like the fact that the arms are detachable and not solid unit down to the seat; it really helps. The older version of the chair had a footpad I liked better than the new one, but I just switched it over to the new one. With both versions you can mix and match; other than computer controller and joystick connector, pretty much the entire thing is interchangeable including the seat and the wheels which is really nice.
The one thing I'd change is waterproofing; I work full-time and trying to get the chair in and out covered and uncovered in snow and rain is very difficult. However, I know I am sacrificing that for the mobility and being able to load and unload it without using a forklift. I am aware of some of the tradeoffs. It's a power chair, so the traction is kinda iffy, but you pay more for that with size of the wheels and everything.
I have put pictures on my Facebook account of my chair with all my shoveling equipment with it since I can shovel successfully from the chair. I have told lots of people at work how happy I am with it, like "look at this!" It's fairly reasonably priced for what it is and I have been really satisfied with both of these chairs that I've owned.

I had a manual chair that I got but it didn't work that well in the house. My house has a lot of sharp corners, narrow places, and coffee tables which was not good for the manual chair. it's This has been working alright. There are minor flaws in the upholstery but that's no big deal. It goes where I want it to and does what it's supposed to do.
Something I would change is the seat- it's too short and it doesn't come far enough down on my leg. It stops halfway on the thigh instead of going out towards the knee and feels like you keep wanting to slip off of it. The armrests were too short too. I would have made the armrests come out more like armrests on a chair. When you go to get out of it, your hands are kinda behind you, I have to use a cane out in front of me with the other hand. The manual wheelchair had an armrest with a step in it, so the upper part would come out from your elbow partway and it would come down with a metal bar that would come forward si you could get a hold of a metal bar for when you stood up. with this thing, it's behind you. Maybe the chair was just too small for me, but it works well in the house, so that part's okay.
For another person that's smaller than I am, it would probably be about right for them. I'm about 5'11 and 190 lbs, so pretty average.
