K-Zoem EZ-TURN Rotation LAL Pressure System comes with an easy-to-use control unit. The control unit is designed with a single, high-flow blower, which emits 1275 liters per minute. It is a micro-controller with RTPM sensor technology to ensure a patient is receiving the proper amount of pressure for comfort. The software is user-friendly and permits changes to be made to pressure, time, and function. A panel on the control unit is designed with dome keys and LED display. This LED display shows current mode, rotation times and angles, and patient pressure level (Soft 0 to Firm 9). Mattresses are inflated within 5 - 50 seconds, depending on their size. Both static and rotation therapy is provided, along with true LAL relief. A built-in lock out key makes it so patient cannot tamper with settings or power switch. The control unit is lightweight, compact, and quiet, which makes it easy for transport and ideal for a multitude of environments.
K-Zoem EZ-TURN Rotation LAL Pressure System is built with a Smart Support Surface (tm). This surface is made of high-quality, urethane-coated nylon air cushions. The cushions are eight inches and arranged in 16/20 cells per mattress. Effective rotation therapy with low-interface pressure is given through the low-friction, low-shear surface. A rugged connector is in place for rapid detachment for emergency CPR deflation. All mattress components, such as manifold, tubes, air cushions, top sheet, and base are detachable and washable.
K-Zoem EZ-TURN Rotation LAL Pressure System should be installed on medical bed frames that have hospital side or assist rails. Once a patient is in place on the bed, the rails should be locked into position.
If the mattress and control unit are not being used, be sure to store them in a safe, dry space. The control unit should have the power cord wrapped around it and be put in a plastic bag to keep it dust and debris-free. To store the mattress, fold or roll it up, and put it in a plastic bag as well.
There are four options available. This includes bariatric options for a patient's safety and comfort.
