A notched rear coccyx section radically reduces the pressure around your tailbone. Removable one inch tall, lateral thigh supports are also included for additional support and positioning with the JX2 by Jay, along with their famous Jay Flow (tm) fluid insert that protects against skin breakdown. Stay clean and dry with a dual-cover system that is also designed to reduce surface tension and completely protect the foam base from any fluids. Active users love the super lightweight foam that provides all of the comfort of many heavier and bulkier cushions. The rear 'coccyx zone' is depressed and notched to reduce pressure in this sensitive area for most users. The lateral thigh supports are removable, further adding to the custom fit of the JX2 wheelchair cushion.

The real secret to the JX2 is the fluid insert that conforms to the user's body to protect bony prominences from skin breakdown. That combined with the excellent support of the foam, makes the JX2 the perfect cushion.

An innovative dual-cover creates a water-resistant barrier of protection around the foam base. With an Aqua-guard zipper and anti-wicking thread inner cover, along with the machine-washable outer stretch cover, the Jay JX2 ensures full coverage against moisture.
