The Sunrise Medical Jay Zip Wheelchair Cushion is a wheelchair seating aid for children to assist with proper sitting positioning, offer optimal stabilizing of the user's pelvis, and helps to protect against skin breakdown.
The cushion comes with a dual-layered foam base that combines structural comfort and support for each individual user. For example, a child using an 8'' wide cushion may require a softer dual-layered foam base than an older or bigger child using a larger 14" wide cushion who may require a more firm base. The Jay Zip cushions are available in over 70 sizes to provide the child and wheelchair the most optimal fit possible. The cushions are durable and lightweight, the smallest cushion weighing as little as 1.2-pounds.
The cushion has an innovative dual-cover design that includes an easy to wipe off and clean inner cover with water-resistant material, anti-wicking thread, and an Aqua-guard zipper to protect the foam base from liquids. The stretch outer cover is machine washable and utilizes silver-impregnated X-static® naturally antimicrobial fiber that inhibits the growth of bacteria on fabrics, eliminating human-based odor for the life of the garment, and helping resist skin breakdown, pressure ulcers, and skin tears.
The cushion also offers fun colored sideband with a variety of color choices to fit the personality of the user. The color choices include pink, purple, blue, red, and toxic green.

Innovative, Dual-Cover System with Extra Outer Cover
The Zip's inner cover is water-resistant and easy to wipe off and clean, while its Aqua-guard zipper and anti-wicking thread protect the foam base from fluids. The machine-washable, stretch outer cover utilizes naturally anti-microbial, silver-impregnated X-static® fiber. Since kids love to make messes, we send an extra outer cover with every Zip cushion!
