The IncrediBack Reclining Back System by Comfort Company will replace your current slingback wheelchair back with customized moldable support. The new back will recline up to 30 degrees in order to reduce the pressure applied to the seating area. The design allows a 2-inch depth adjustment range in order to fit the majority of users. Additionally, the IncrediBack can be used with most slingback wheelchairs thanks to its numerous configurations available for purchase. The system is fully adjustable for both height and angle and can be easily installed with its durable strapping system. The padding is constructed of high resiliency foam that comfortably contours to the user's anatomy and provides elbow padding on vertical canes. The cover is a soft, comfortable, leathery material called Comfort-Tek. Comfort-Tek can be easily cleaned because of its texture and uses multi-dimension stretch to alleviate pressure on prominences.
Note: Wheelchair must have anti-tip bars in order to install the Incrediback system.
The IncrediBack is available in four different back styles: Standard, Tall, Deep, and Tall Deep. The Standard back is best for users who need extra support and comfort that they are unable to obtain from normal sling back chairs. The moldable option folds with the wheelchair. The Tall option is similar except it provides more head and neck support than the standard option does. The Deep back is for the user who needs strong trunk support. This option features wide, prominent lateral wings that are moldable to best fit and position the user. Lastly, there is a Tall Deep option that is for those who require a solid reclining back and additional head and neck support. This model also features moldable wings to support the trunk and a moldable headrest to stabilize the head and neck.
Each system can support up to 450 pounds.
