DiaMedical USA's Hillrom Advanta 2 Med-Surg Hospital Bed is a high-tech option for facilities hoping to offer the highest quality of care to their patients. Coming with a foam mattress and bed sheet package, the bed is readymade to keep patients comfortable and secure while they rest, thanks to its range of positioning adjustment capabilities, all of which are directly accessible to the patient.

Thanks to the bed's integrated technology, it gives healthcare professionals everything they need to supervise and care for their patients efficiently, all while ensuring their continued safety and comfort. A number of monitoring capabilities, IntelliDrive powered transport, and an integrated scale for in-bed weighing combine to make caregivers jobs easy while using this bed.

For your convenience, this bed comes with optional white glove delivery and installation, as well as the removal of your previous bed if necessary.

What all does this entail?

Disassemble: All bed components are removed and carefully inspected.

Clean: The bed and its parts are thoroughly washed to be made free of dirt, grime, and any tape residue. This step also includes a sanitization process which prepares the bed for any necessary repairs and painting.

Repair: Damaged, missing, or faulty parts are removed and replaced with OEM components. All moving parts are well lubricated, and the bed casters are removed and replaced.

Reassemble: The bed is reassembled to factory specifications.

Relabel: All bed parts are relabeled with OEM equipment labels and decals; the bed itself maintains its OEM serial ID.

Final Inspection: All bed hardware is checked, tuned (if needed), and electrically inspected. The bed's side rail functions are checked and tuned accordingly, as well as the bed's internal circuit boards. Finally, the bed receives a final cleaning to ensure that you receive the cleanest, most like-new product possible.

The Advanta 2 Med-Surg Hospital Bed from DiaMedical USA brings patients and caregivers together in a way that enables the highest quality of relaxation and medical recovery for the patient, while making it easy for caregivers to perform their duties. The bed ships with a fitted foam mattress and accompanying bed sheets, and incorporates a number of elements meant to improve patient's comfort during their stay in the hospital: patients have access to bed positioning adjustments, nurse call and entertainment remote control through the Sidecom system, and an in-rail storage compartment for any items they may want to keep nearby. The Care Grip assist handle makes independently entering and exiting the bed a breeze, while the one-button Dining Chair feature makes it simple for patients to position themselves upright to eat.

Caregivers will have no problem monitoring patient status with this bed, as it offers a bevy of relevant technological innovations to bolster communication and visibility. The bed is integrated with Smart Bed technology to connect with NaviCare Nurse Call (as well as other nurse call systems and EMRs), a bed exit monitoring system with three levels of detection, a SafeView alert system, and alarms that sound when the brakes are off. The integrated scale enables in-bed weighing, while the IntelliDrive system assists caregivers in efficiently transferring the bed between rooms.
