These Convoluted Foam Mattress Pads are an ideal mattress topper if you are looking for patient comfort. The construction of these mattress pads is meant to distribute weight and encourage airflow. The Graham Field pads come in four different sizes, allowing them to fit on almost any size mattress. The actual dimensions are meant to be slightly smaller than the mattress so sheets and bedding can be properly put on. Even though the design of these pads is meant to distribute weight, they are not meant for pressure management. They are available in three different thicknesses to better accommodate patient needs. The actual color of the pads can vary.

The overlays come in a compressed package, and they will need time to fully recover before being put on the mattress. When letting the mattress pads recover, just gently unfold them from the packaging and place them on a flat surface. It can take up to 72 hours for the foam to recover, and cooler temperatures are known for causing longer expansion times. These mattress overlays are made to fit Twin, Full, Queen, and King mattresses. Dimensions for the Twin pad are 34 by 72 inches, while the Full pad is 52 by 72 inches. Queen overlay dimensions are 58 by 78 inches, and King dimensions are 76 by 78 inches.

As the convoluted mattress pads expand, the exact dimensions could vary by one inch. Each size of these toppers can be found in three different thicknesses. You have the option of getting pads that are 2 inches, 3 inches, or 4 inches thick. They are made without any latex, and meet the requirements of HCPCS code: E0199. The convoluted, or egg crate, build of these mattress pads is mostly used with comfort in mind, and is not recognized for pressure management. The increased airflow will help keep the pads cool.
