Freedom Excursion Tandem Tricycle

The Freedom Excursion Tandem Tricycle is the perfect way for two people to enjoy the benefits of cycling while also allowing them to enjoy each others company. It allows a more abled person to propel the bike while a person with more limited mobility rides in the front, being able to either help pedal or disengage them for a rest. The rear seat replicates the feel of a standard mountain bike and has two sizes of rear seat post to accommodate a large range of riders. The rear rider has full control of the bike with the unique cable actuated rear steering system, letting them stop and steer with ease. This trike has an 8-speed nexus twist shifter to allow for a faster ride so that the riders can keep up with everyone else or just ride faster if they choose to do so.

This trike is the ideal way for two people to enjoy cycling with the front seat better accommodating users with a range of mobility limitations. Seat includes a two inch seat belt for safety and comfort, while front hoop handle bars that can be locked or unlocked and parking brake enable easy operation and control. Crank and sprocket system can adjust in all directions for optimal positioning and support, ensuring a custom fit for each user. Quick release mechanisms on all adjustable parts make customization safe and easy. Strong front suspension provides reliable stability while the heavy duty steel chain guard keeps the trike moving through years of trouble-free use.

Adjustable Handlbars	Right and Left Handlbars
The Adjustable Handlebars are standard for the Adventurer series, making it easy and safe to transfer on and off.	The Right and Left Hoop Handlebars come standard and allow riders to adjust the height and nearness, customizing the ride to the user.
Self Centering Spring	Direct Drive
The self centering spring ensures that the tricycle does not veer left or right, but maintains a straight line.	The tricycle's Direct Drive feature provides riders with the ability to pedal forward and backward as they desire.
Adjustable Crank	Heavy Duty Steel Chain Guard
This crank provides caregivers and parents with the ability to easily adjust the distance between the seat and crank as the user grows.	The heavyduty steel chain guard protects the tricycle's chain which furthers the tricycle's life span longer.
Neoprene Adjustable Footplate	Molded ABS Footplate System
The optional Neoprene Adjustable Footplates are excellent for keeping the rider's foot in place without compromising the user's comfort.	The optional Molded ABS Footplate System comfortably keeps the rider's feet in place and will train their leg and feet control.
Stationary Bike Trainer	Velcro Gloves
The optional Stationary Bike Trainer allows caregivers to provide physical therapy to patients without having to go outside or when space is limited.	The optional Velcro Gloves will provide riders to learn to steer and ride properly without stressing over too much at one time.
Removable Abductor Divider	Padded Leg Adduction Strap
The optional Removable Abductor Leg Divider assist with training the rider's legs from criss crossing, as well as helps the rider with maintaining their balance.	The optional Padded Leg Adduction Strap system will keep the rider's legs from extreme spastic behavior, allowing for the user to enjoy their rider longer.
High Rise Handlebars	Wide Handlebars
For taller children or those with more upper body control, the optional High Rise Handlebars allow a more bicycle look.	Similar to the benefits of the High Rise Handlebars, the optional Wide Handlebars make the tricycle look for like the neighborhood kid's ride-on toys.
Mountain Bike Style Foot Pedals	Footplate Spacers
The Mountain Bike Style Foot Pedals are a standard feature of the Adventurer series Tricycles.	The purpose of the Footplate Spacers is to provide riders with shorter legs with the ability to drive their tricycle more comfortably.
Adjustable and Removable Headrest	Custom Lateral Support System
The removable headrest allows for other types of headrests to be utilized, providing a versatile tricycle for school and facility use. The headrest's ability to be adjusted assists with a variety of heights that may be utilizing the tricyle.	The custom Lateral Support System provides riders with poor balance the chance to ride their tricycle more independently! This build the user's confidence and balance.
Animal Squeaky Horns	Tricycle Bell
The Animal Squeaky Horns provide a variety of visual options for children riders to honk and squeak their way through their tricycle ride.	This tricycle bell comes standard with all of the tricycle models. The tricycle bell lets the rider know when they're coming down the sidewalk or street!
Safety Flag	Hand Brake
The Safety Flag is orange in color, adding a colorful touch to the tricycle and a safety feature while riding down the road.	The hand brake allows riders to brake as they need to, allowing for the rider to gain independence and confidence.

The Headpod Headrest is designed for providing users with head and spine support. This allows for the muscles in the neck that holds up their head are less strained and used, supporting them without compromising their posture and neural inputs of the brain.
Jogging Extension Handle	Occiputal Headrest
The Jogging Extension Handle is excellent for parents or caregivers that want to maintain control over the tricycle without compromising the rider's ability to gain independence and confidence of tryking.	The Occiputal Headrest provides additional support to the rider's head in a lateral position under the occiputal portion of their head. The headrest is shaped to wrap around  the user's head, providing additional needed support.

Knobby Tires are designed for off road riding for those that enjoy riding through rougher terrain.	The Rear Platform provides additional storage for riders and caregivers.
Low Seat Back	High Seat Back
Each tricycle model comes standard with a Low Seat Back.	As an optional feature, the tricycle may be upgraded to a high seat back which will provide additional back support.
Smooth Tire	Sun and Rain Canopy option
Smooth tires of a tricycle provide riders with a smooth ride over roads. These type of tires are best utilized for on-road riding and not off road, verying terrain.	The Sun and Rain Canopy will protect the rider from harsh sun rays and light rain falls.
Thumb Shifter	Vee Front Brakes
The thumb shifter allows the rider to easily adjust their speed with the REC or TEC propulsions. The thumb shifter is required for the REC and TEC propulsion features.	The front brakes are easily applied similar to standard bicycles and tricycles.
Right Rear Parking Brake	Tilt Seat
The right rear parking brake comes standard with each tricycle, but users may choose to have it on the left instead.	By having a tiltable seat, riders are able to easily drive their tricycle in a reclined position. The tilt seat provides additional support to the rider. The Tilt Seat comes standard with the extended model.
Raised Pommel Add-on	Abductor Leg Brace(s)
Adding two inches to the seat, the Raised Pommel Add-on assists the rider by keeping them seated.	The Abductor Leg Braces ensures that the rider maintains their leg positions.
