The AmTryke 1410 Early Intervention Tryke is intended for early intervention. With a fixed drive, children who might otherwise have problems making a full pedal rotation will find this trike easier to operate, allowing them to enjoy exercise and outdoor activity. The foot crank is constantly in motion for a full therapeutic effect, and safety is improved by ensuring that when limb motion stops the bike does as well, making coasting impossible for safe operation and easy stopping.

The AmTryke 1410 Early Intervention Tryke is available in Amtryke Red. Assembly is required.

The rolled steel frame features quick-turn knobs which allow for the seat bracket to move closer or further from the front in order to accommodate a variety of rider sizes. For transport, the frame and seating easily dismantle. A low center of gravity provides added stability. A Safety steering limiter pin allows for three graduated steering options, which are straight, 20 degrees left/right, and free steering. Foot plates feature a heel strap, with toe and instep strap, to secure the rider's feet to pedals. There's also a pedal leveler pulley and a loading lock allows for a safe and easy rider transfer. The 10 inch front and rear wheels are constructed of heavy plastic with long-lasting solid rubber tires. The AmTryke 1410 Early Intervention Tryke also features 3 inch hand crank arms, a lap belt with safety t-strap, four-way adjustable seating (up/down, and forward/back), and a safety helmet.

The AmTryke 1410 Early Intervention Tryke features increased sizing to accommodate smaller and larger riders. It has a more stable platform and a rear steering kit option.

The Optional Rear Steering Kit provides caregivers with full control over pushing and steering the tryke from the rear. A push bar is installed on the rear with a steering rod along the frame that attaches to the front wheel.

Choose from a range of adaptive accessories such as a snappy seat system, a headrest, backrest, footcup, lateral support, and knee adductor positioning strap. A safety flag, water bottle holder, and license plate with decal can also be added to customize the bike.
