As an active standing device, the EasyStand Glider Standing Frame System from Altimate Medical is designed to provide disabled individuals with state-of-the-art body strengthening and range of motion training. Built with architecture similar to an elliptical exercise machine, this high-tech stander features handles that are connected to both foot platforms, enabling users to develop their upper-body strength while simultaneously moving their legs to simulate a striding motion. Routine use of the EasyStand Glider can yield a variety of health improvements and benefits, including improved circulation, reduced swelling, and enhanced bone integrity. Designed to accommodate the widest range of users, the EasyStand Glider Standing Frame System is highly customizable.

The Glider comes standard with: a full range seat, positioning bar, two 5" rear locking casters, tray and chest pad, flip-up knee pads, transfer handles, adjustable resistance cylinders, two 5" front wheels, manual hydraulic actuator with handle, glide handles, adjustable foot plates, and black upholstery. Packaged models with default sizes are available here.

Designed for easier transfers, each Glider model is equipped with a full-range seat that is hinged into separate sections, providing users with the ability to fully extend the ankle. hip, and legs for the optimal standing position. Additionally, its flip-up knee pads and positioning bar ensure a swift and safe transfer.

As an active stander, users have glide handles to strengthen their upper body which corresponds and alternates the footplates; however, the glide handles can be maneuvered with the assistance of a caregiver as needed. With this movement, a variety of studies show that users are improving their health and increasing the chance of medical breakthroughs by keeping the body in shape.

What are Glider's adjustable features?
To custom fit this stander model, easily make adjustments to the seat depth, back angle, footplate height, kneepad height, and handle height. For use in a rehab setting, it's easy to customize the Glider stander for individuals of various heights and abilities. The adjustable resistance cylinders are accessible to the user while they are in the standing position, so they can easily adjust the resistance in twelve different settings.

Answer: When it comes to custom fittings, that is done by the purchaser (you)! The EasyStand Glider Standing Frame System offers two base sizes: medium and large. The medium suits individuals who are 4'0 - 5'6, up to 200 lbs, and the large suits individuals who are 5'0 - 6'2, up to 280 lbs. Once you figure out which base size you need and your item arrives, you can then adjust the standing frame to suit your exact measurements! The frame has multiple knobs that can be adjusted for a custom fit. There are videos, user manuals, and guides on the website to help guide you through frame adjustments.
