Product Overview:

The EasyStand Bantam Extra Small Stander combines the great benefits of a standing frame with a sit-to-stand function that allows children to gradually build their tolerance for standing. For easier and safer operation, this additional comfort increases a child's standing compliance, swiftly bringing the child to a standing position and reaping the health benefits provided by standing. With the standard frame, there are two front wheels and two rear casters with locks allow this stander to be mobile, enabling children can participate in activities in different rooms.

The Extra Small Bantam comes standard with: foot plates, gas spring lift with foot pedal, black upholstery, two 5" front wheels, planar seat and back, two 3" rear locking swivel casters, and a chest strap. Prepackaged versions of this Bantam Extra Small Stander with default sized parts are available here.

Notice: This unique custom fabricated item is made-to-order using a "Just in Time" manufacturing process. This is designed to keep your cost lower, but may require an additional 10 - 15 business days lead time before your product ships.

After your product has been delivered to you, you may call to schedule an appointment with our certified, insured technicians. They will bring the item to your room of choice, assemble your product, and dispose of packaging debris.

It promotes better interactivity because the child is able to be placed in a variety of positions for classroom work or socializing at the dinner table. The Bantam can place the child in 90/90 sitting, anterior sitting, upright standing, supine standing or lying positions with just the press of a button or with the hydraulic manual pump.

A Multitude of Standing Positions
Since changing positions in the Bantam is safe, easy, and quick, the child can get a whole new perspective without changing equipment. By alternating a variety of standing positions, the child can tolerate standing for a longer period of time. Plus, when it is easier for the caregivers to stand the child, and the child is more comfortable, they will stand more often.

Natural sit-to-stand transition gently brings child to the standing position

One person can transfer the child from their wheelchair into the stander while in the seated or lying position.
Secure positioning straps and optional Shadow Tray.
Elevate child to the desired position by depressing the button to activate the manual gas spring lift (or optional manual hydraulic pump).

Why Stand Kids with Disabilities?
There are a number of excellent research studies documenting the medical benefits of standing programs for a child's long-term health. Besides the medical benefits, children have also experienced enhanced social development & peer interaction while standing. Therapists, teachers, and caregivers notice increased alertness, vocalization and responsiveness.
