Designed as a medical device to support and protect as well as restore the ankle joint range of motion (ROM), the DeROM Universal Ankle Support Splint provides a low-load prolonged stretch to soft tissue, helping to heal ROM limitations, soft tissue contractures, and joint stiffness.

Promoting the healing of damaged ankles, this ankle support allows the user Flexion up to 130 degrees for Dorsiflexion and Plantar Flexion while also promoting joint distraction and addressing plantar flexion and inversion.

A rear piston on this rigid ankle splint is designed to initiate heel strike for a proper gait during weight bearing therapy, patient transfers or activities such as walking to help speed up recovery and reduce the chance of injuring the affected ankle. Malleable Wire-foam® cuffs offer the user a customized and comfortable fit of the ankle splint, allowing more wearing time of the brace, and therefore decreasing recovery time.
