When choosing the size, go by the shoe size. If there is a range of shoe sizes that fit, go with the largest size. This ankle brace is made with i-Fit and a-Fit technology for an anatomically (right & left) correct fit. The external Exo-Grid is a dual exterior molded support structure with Grip Technology, or anti-migration, that prevents the ankle from rolling inward (Inversion) or outward (Eversion). The external Exo-Grid design, along with the anchor strap, assists in preventing high ankle sprains by reducing the separation of the two lower leg bones where the ankle meets. The X- Strap Stabilizers with Grip Tech located underneath prevents the foot from shifting forward. Stephen Curry, Pro Basketball, All Star Point Guard, wears the A2-DX during practice and games.

I completely tore the anterior talofibular and a partial tear to the tibiofibular ligaments in my left ankle. The doctor suggested surgery. Due to my job, that is not an option headed into Spring and Summer. If I do that, it will be in the fall. He said I could try a brace and see how that works. So I did some research and settled on the A2-DX brace. It provides great support. I injured my ankle in late January 2017. I wear this brace while working and during most other activities. I am even playing golf again. I am right handed and have had to modify my swing slightly to reduce the roll over on my left foot. But I play golf pain free. I love this brace some much I ordered a second one. It provides great support.

I injured my left ankle a month ago. I tore the talofibular ligament and dislocated the peroneus brevis tendon. Doc suggested surgery, but with my job that is not an option headed into spring and summer. They gave me an AirCast ankle brace which is good, but I need something that provides better support when I am more active. I love the A2-DX. It is comfortable and provides great support. I am starting to go back to golfing. I plan to buy another so I have it when this one wears out.
