Cover for Comfy Splints' K-101 or K-102 Knee Orthoses

This Comfy Splints Cover acts as a replacement or substitute cover for the Comfy Splints Knee Orthosis devices. While Comfy Splints Knee Orthosis focuses on supporting weak extremities and immobilizing movement to reduce pain, the new plush terry cloth cover will continue to act as the cushioning surface for K-101 and K-102 Orthosis models which provides a smooth and soft surface while helping to promote hygiene and comfort.

Unlike the Comfyprene material covers, Comfy Splints Terry Cloth covers have the advantage of having an easy application and removal process. The process can be started and finished by locating the hook that wrapped the old cover together and replacing it with a new one.

Comfy Splints Knee Covers are made of durable plush terry cloth that serves to absorb moisture and act as a layer of protection for the skin. The cloth is made of specialized cotton fibers created to control moisture levels and add protection. However, the cover and straps are lined with soft foam that surrounds the whole frame of the splint to prevent pressure points from developing on a patient's leg and minimize skin friction against the orthosis device. Together, these features provide a smooth surface for graduated knee extension while accommodating individuals with sensitive or fragile skin.
