You should include in the description that it does not allow for more that a few inches of flex in the knee. And how is it supposed to be held in place with only straps on the front of your leg?

I have purchased 2 of these. Both broke after I wore them only a few days. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone and wish that I hadn't purchased the second one. I anticipated the plastic might have just been faulty but apparently it is that way in all of them.

Product is not strong enough to offer support. Plastic bends and breaks, only effective for one month, search for brace using metal not plastic

Overall, we are happy with this product and the function it serves which is to help my Moms knee from hyper-extending when she walks. The plastic material used is of high quality, and the velco bands are all well-made and of strong stitching. I also appreciate how they included an Allen Wrench to help me adjust the rivets. I was worried about paying so much for this knee cage and it not working, especially since it also cannot be returned. I would recommend this knee cage as an alternative to the other types of neoprene knee braces that have internal hinges. This seems to do a much better job of stopping the knee from extending. The only reason why I didnt give it a 5-star rating is because I felt that $120 was a little pricey for this brace.

The brace doesn't stay up in place on the leg. Maybe the sizing is off for my brace.

It didnt fit my leg. Couldnt use it.

I think the Knee Cage is very effective. The main problem is the fit of the devise changes during the day. Easier adjustment would be an improvement. I hope the devise is strong enough over time. Has helped my hyperextended knee problem.

Purchased for my mom and her torn knee ligaments but she found it very heavy and uncomfortable.

Excellent Knee Cage
I have another brand of knee cage that is vinyl-coated aluminum and its a nice brace, but at 13" thigh circumference, Im right at the upper limit for the small size in that brand and its simply too tight; the medium is too large. This RCAI knee cage accommodates a small thigh with a 14" circumference, and that extra inch makes a big difference in comfort. This is a very well built brace, made of flexible thermodynamic plastic that is sturdy and stable but more forgiving than the aluminum brace. The only problem I anticipate with the RCAI is that it might be too warm for summer wear, as its straps and knee pad are made of thick felt. Also, the straps affix to the uprights with Velcro strips instead of snap-on loops, so if your hands are weak its a little cumbersome. The RCAI is reasonably priced, and you can adjust the tautness of the knee pad with a hex wrench (included). It works well for my pretty severe genu recurvatum (with the knee pad screws set on the fourth-hole adjustment).
