The B-Cool Knee Immobilizer is designed to temporarily immobilize, stabilize, and protect the user's leg during recovery from an acute injury to the knee, such as tendon or ligament tearing or rupture, or a knee fracture.
The durable foam-backed nylon immobilizer has a 13-inch by 13-inch double-wide, poly-cotton terry split pocket located inside. The pocket is designed to accommodate two ice or gel packs to help apply cold therapy, or two heat packs for heat therapy, to help aid the recovery period as well as to assist with pain relief. Stretch elastic straps with hook and loop closures allow easy application and adjustment of the immobilizer as well as adding safe and helpful compression to the leg to assist in the healing process.
Included are three reinforced contoured aluminum posterior stays to provide stability and rigidity, and two detachable medial and lateral stays to add stability as well as to be positioned for a more personalized and comfortable fit. The latex-free immobilizer can fit either the right or left leg equally well and is available in a wide range of lengths and sizes.
