More Information

The Tri Panel Knee Immobilizer includes three contoured posterior stays, with two medial and two lateral stays. A Velcro closure is adjustable, so the knee brace and support can be customized to fit. The Tri Panel Knee Immobilizer is available in three different sizes, 14 inch, 20 inch, and 24 inch.

How to Apply the Tri Panel Knee Immobilizer:
The tri-panel style has adjustable side panels to fit a wide range of sizes that can be angled for a tapered fit. Determine the appropriate width by removing the panels and placing in the desired position. Angling the panels will improve the fit for wider thighs or thinner calves. The medial and lateral stays should still be aligned with the sides of the leg. Fully attach the hook on the side panels to the base. Place immobilizer behind the knee using the contoured posterior stays as a guide for proper positioning. The inverted portion of the stays should be placed in the popliteal area (directly behind the knee). Close the immobilizer panels, and with the immobilizer in correct position, start securing straps immediately above and below the patella first. Work from the bottom upwards, closing the additional straps. Use the removable piece of double sided hook for more customized fit. Excess strap length may be trimmed to fit. Re-adjust if necessary.

Tri Panel Knee Immobilizer Care Instructions:
Hand wash in cold water with mild soap. Wrap in a towel to remove excess water (do not twist or wring). Air dry away from heat. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach.

Caution
Wear as recommended. Always consult a physician when encountering persistent pain, discomfort, inflammation, or swelling.
