Comfort Knee Immobilizer - Universal

The Comfort Knee Immobilizer is used by individuals after knee tendon or ligament surgery to help keep the user's leg straight and stabilized. The immobilizer helps to keep the user from bending their knees and putting pressure on the injured or surgically repaired knee.

The immobilizer is constructed with a durable and easy-to-clean nylon material with open-cell foam lining to provide comfort, warmth, and protection to the injury. Incorporated within the nylon material are anatomically contoured, reinforced aluminum posterior stays with a fortified center 'I' beam to provide needed rigidity to the immobilizer, as well as two detachable aluminum lateral and medial stays for an optimal positional fit.

Easy to use hook-and-loop closure straps securely wrap around the immobilizer to provide a comfortable level of compression to the leg and knee as well as a customized snug fit, not allowing the immobilizer to slip down the leg while the user is mobile. The knee immobilizer does allow the user to walk in a straight-legged gait, best used in conjunction with a pair of crutches with one immobilized leg, or with a walker with both legs immobilized.

The universal fitting knee immobilizer can be used on either the left or right leg and comes in a variety of sizes, from 10" in length to 28" in length, and the nylon material can be cut and trimmed to provide for a more comfortable, customized fit.
