Stability With Safety Combined
The AirLITE Cushion improves the ability to transfer by lowering the front and middle of the cushion 3/4 inch (2 cm), while keeping its strong positioning capability by deepening the leg troughs. The lower height also contributes to a greater feeling of security in the chair.

"Bottom-Out" Protection
To prevent the bottoming out effect, which happens when the wheelchair cushion compresses and does not effectively redistribute pressure, ROHO included an air floatation insert that helps maintain the wheelchair cushion's shape. This added component is lightweight and won't weigh the mobility device down. The air chamber immerses the ischials to redistribute pressure and prevent pressure sores.

By using a softer foam, ROHO created a comfortable cushion that forms to each wheelchair user's unique anatomy.
