Can this seat be used in a school bus?

Answer: This seat can be used on a bus, so long as it's able to attach securely and so long as the bus has standard, latch-compatible seating (like the backseat of a car or transport van/bus). This car seat WILL NOT work with buses that have open bench seats, like a school bus.

Is the Spirit 2400 APS Adjustable Positioning System considered durable medical equipment?

Answer: The Spirit 2400 APS Seat has been built to the highest standards of quality to ensure years of superior service.

Do these expire in 5 yrs like regular car seats?

Answer: In general, car seats expire between 6 and 10 years from the date of manufacture. In terms of how to tell if a car seat is expired, the best way is to look for a small white sticker somewhere on the seat that contains information like the manufacture date, serial number, model number and car seat expiration date. Other brands have this information imprinted somewhere on the plastic shell.

Was very pleased with size of the car seat.

Very disappointed in quality of the car seat fabric.
Especially the fabric on the car seat back. Fabric is very thin. Can only imagine how hot and sweaty my grandsons back is going to get being so close to the foam. Does not seem like it is going to hold up very long. Already anticipating that I am going to have to reupholster the car seat.

This car seat is very expensive so I expected better quality.

Adjusting the straps and positioning was also very difficult. I agree with another one of your customers that said you need an on line video.

I still not have received the Incontinence Cover [sku: DRV-CSS-A2405S] $201.44
ordered on 12/16/2019. Was told warehouse was going to mail on Jan 8. I still have not receive.

This chair is very tall and probably wouldnt fit in most cars, it is way over built and the seating area itself is at least 5 inches high, plenty wide and the length hangs well over my 2019 Toyota Highlanders seat. There are plenty of adjustments for multiple sized users but it would be nice to have a realistic "How To Adjust and Install" video! My disabled son is 18 and weighs 63 lbs is 4ft 3in tall. This chair could be updated with rigid latch instead of all the strapping and hook latch. It is thick, bulky and heavy and the return policy is terrible!

The foam padding is not covered with anything was peeling out upon installing . Not very good quality
