According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 46% of car seats and booster seats are not used properly. It’s important to keep our children safe by finding a properly-fit car seat or booster that meets their individual needs. Finding a safe and practical car seat or booster for a child with a disability can be extra challenging for parents. The Recaro Monza Nova 2 was designed to provide additional support for children with mobility or stability concerns due to a disability.

The Recaro Monza Nova 2 can help children with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, such as cerebral palsy and brain injuries that result in mobility, tone, or stability difficulties. It is designed for children ages 3-12 years with weight limits ranging from 33-110 pounds and a height limit of 59 inches or less.
The Recaro Monza Nova 2 is the only special needs booster in North America that offers a swivel base making transfers into and out of the car exponentially easier. As our children grow, proper ergonomic form while lifting is imperative to keep you and your child safe. Help prevent back pain by purchasing the accessory swivel base, which moves the seat 90 degrees and helps you easily get your kiddo into their booster seat.
The adjustability of the Recaro Monza Nova 2 is one of the most valuable features. Simple adjustments and customization options allow the seat to grow seamlessly with your child throughout their early-mid-childhood. The headrest offers elevenfold height options and requires only the squeeze of a handle, making modification seamless. An optional seat depth extender can also be purchased. Prolong the life of your booster seat and forget about having to buy another car.
The Recaro booster seat also offers a built-in sound system integrated into the headrest. Thisallows your child to enjoy their own audio and encourages proper head and neck posture. This calming feature helps the child soothe themselves at a volume that doesn’t disturb the parents. Simply plug your device into the headphone jack, and you are ready to play.
Unlike most other seats on the market, the Recaro Monza Nova 2 weighs only 13.2 pounds, making transitions from one car to another smooth and simple. The latches simply clip to your vehicle, making removal fast and simple. Lift the booster seat with a finger and make transitions a breeze!
Support and stability are primary goals in the Recaro Monza Nova 2 system. With utmost safety in mind, an adjustable 5-point-harness system provides increased protection compared to a belted booster seat or a seat belt alone. Additional padding in the headrest area is removable and washable. A pumping mechanism quickly fills the neck region with air providing extra head and neck support. Lateral supports, hip supports, and a bolster are present to stabilize your child in place and are removable for washing and growth. Get the individual support your child needs and deserves to keep them safe and comfortable in their seat.
Along with the plethora of safety and unique design features, the Recaro Monza Nova 2 is customizable with numerous optional accessories, including an abduction block, footrest, tray table, seat wedges, and seat depth extensor. Each accessory has been tested according to the US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Regulations and provides support to match the child’s individual needs.
“I recently purchased the Recaro Monza Nova 2 for my 7-year-old daughter with special needs. The swivel feature is a godsend and makes getting in and out of the car significantly easier. The seat is considered a booster seat, and although it can be attached via the latch system in your car, it still requires a 3-point seatbelt for complete safety. I would highly recommend this product.”

“I had trouble finding a booster seat that provided sufficient neck and trunk support for my child with special needs. The Recaro Monza Nova 2 is light and provides incredible support to my 8-year-old son. The height adjustment is super simple, and the swivel base saves my back.”
-Sarah M.
“Positioning has been a challenge for my 6-year-old with cerebral palsy. The Recaro Monza Nova 2 provides both the safety and stability she needs to keep her feeling happy and secure in the car. I love the adjustability. We will use this product for years to come.”
-Morgan H.
