Product Overview:

The Wrist Extension Splint allows the fingers and thumb to be used while limiting extreme motion of the joints of the thumb and preventing unwanted flexion or extension of the wrist. A bendable metal stay limits abduction of the CMC joint and flexion and extension of the MCP joint. When sizing, measure wrist circumference. If the plastic has been opened, the Wrist Extension Splint cannot be returned.

More Information

Each Wrist Extension Splint has a wrist strap, which helps support the wrist and prevents it from migrating. Optional dorsal stays for increased stabilization are sold separately. The splint is recommended for conditions such as gamekeeper's thumb, de Quervain's tendonitis, arthritis, inflammation, sprains, and other disorders of the wrist and thumb.

Each Wrist Extension Splint is made from washable, perforated latex-free neoprene. While moisture can escape, heat is retained.
