The Patient Assist Walking Gait Belt is a safety aid that ensures the safety of both the user and caregiver when transferring a cooperative, partially dependent patient who has some weight-bearing capacity.
Using this 2-inch wide, heavy-duty webbed gait belt to ambulate or transfer a patient allows the caregiver to safely grasp onto the belt that is secured around the patient's waist. Otherwise, the caregiver would have to grasp clothing or the patients body, increasing the possibility of a patient fall, or slipping from the caregiver's grasp.
