Urias Adult Air Splints

The Urias Adult Air Splints are the perfect solution for firm stability and support with a gentle feel. Designed to support users with a range of injuries and conditions including stroke, head injury, MS, and CP, as well as for use with muscle facilitation in neurological rehabilitation and post-surgery edema management.

This durable splint is made with strong PVC sheeting and an inner layer that provides improved contour and shaping to the affected limb. Option of single or double chamber models allow better accommodation for a range of users and needs. The single chamber design ensures even air distribution around the extremities to better control and reduce edema, while the double chamber design allows pressure variance in each chamber to assist in contracture reduction and tone control.

When uninflated, this splint fits easily into a first-aid kit and then inflates quickly and conveniently using a filter and disposable mouthpiece (sold separately) for simple application. The plastic zipper closure makes for easy donning and doffing of the air splint. The air filters are used to help prevent moisture from accumulating in the splint and conveniently change color to indicate the need for replacement.

Apply to limb and inflate. Pressure should not exceed 40mm Hg. To size, measure the length of the extremity. Measurement is the length of the splint before inflation.
