Equipped for patient safety, the UltraCare XT Four Section Hospital Bed Frame can be fitted to fit most care facility or in-home care room styles. With the choice of length and width, this electric adjustable bed is built with four sections for optimal positioning, including the back support, knee support, and height.

Designed with patient variety in mind, it is one of the most accommodating bed frames on the market which includes fitting for bariatric facilities and Alzheimer's units. With height adjustability, caregivers or patients can safely raise or lower the bed frame to the best height for getting into and out of the bed. With this feature, patients' safety is made a priority, reducing the number of fall injury risks and improving the livelihood of patients.

NOTE: The UltraCare XT Four Section Hospital Bed Frame does not come with a mattress. A mattress must be purchased separately from the bed frame. A recommended mattress is listed at the bottom of the page under "Related Products and Accessories".

Following the Toroidal style of architectural engineering, the UltraCare XT Four Section Hospital Bed Frame is constructed with a steel frame that is thirty (30) times stronger than an angle iron frame. Additionally, its four-section design expands its purpose to a variety of patient types, making the bed frame pertinent for facilities with varying patient needs. In addition to height adjustments, this electric bed frame adjusts the back support and knee/leg support and can be positioned into the Trendelenburg, Reverse Trendelenburg, completely flat, and ComfortChair.

AdvanceCare Control Unit
For the ultimate positioning with an electrically operated bed frame, the AdvanceCare Control Unit offers up to twelve (12) positioning choices, ensuring its versatility for a number of patient types. For the patient, the pendant controller includes eight (8) of those operations, allowing the caregiver to control Trendelenburg, Reverse Trendelenburg, Nurse Lock, and the underbed light.

Can I connect the pendant controller to either side of the UltraCare XT?

Answer: Yes, you can put it on either the right or left side, whichever side you sleep on!

Are there assembly instructions for the UltraCare XT?

Answer: There sure are! If you find the section titled, "Additional Documentation on This Product" you will find a User Manual that includes assembly instructions on pages 6 - 10.

My UltraCare XT is not responding to the pendant controller. What do I do?

Answer: 1. Check lockout status.
2. Check that the connection is fully inserted with the cable secured.
3. Check that the bed is plugged into the power source and the green light on the control box is illuminated.
4. Unplug the bed for 60 seconds and plug back in.
5. If these steps fail to resolve the problem, call Technical Support at 800-826-0270.

Is the hand rail strong enough for the individual to pull on for assistance in moving?

1. ASSIST DEVICE (Half-Length Rail): Features a low profile design, avoiding feeling of restriction or restraint for the resident. Mounted at the perfect ergonomic height to assist residents in and out of bed. Soft-touch handle provides a sturdy handhold for improved resident grip.
2. DELUXE ASSIST HANDLE: New assist handle features an ergonomic and a sturdy soft touch handhold. The assist is mounted at an ergonomic height to best assist residents in and out of bed, and has an integrated pendant holder on each side.
