The Trivarion Buffered Iontophoresis Delivery Kit is available in four fascinating boxes of 12 electrodes. There are four sizes and shapes available. These electrodes are used by medical professionals in treating areas by applying an electric current in order to quickly distribute medication. They are ideal for applying anti-inflammatory medication to regions affected by tendonitis. The electric current helps the medication pass through the skin membrane much faster and evenly with safety in mind.
A pear-like shape 1.5cc, 2.0cc, and 3.5cc electrode are revolutionary in design because they better adhere to the natural curves and ridges of the human body. The teardrop-like shape fully covers bony regions like the elbow, shoulder, knee, finger, knuckle, Achilles tendon, and carpal tunnel. The use of silver and silver chloride reduces the noise level of the electrode signals. It also evenly distributes the current so there are no isolated hot spots that can cause patient discomfort. Each pad is carbon-based and precisely delivers ions up to 80 mA*min with an accurate pH balance. The large surface adhesion and highly absorbent drug matrix ensure you will not have to use unnecessary amounts of a hydrogel.
Each of the 12 kits contains one active delivery electrode, one return electrode, and one alcohol prep par. The Tricarion Buffered Iontophoresis electrodes can be used with the ActiveDose II Controller. These are latex-free in order to prevent any unwanted allergy from occurring.
These electrodes must be used under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. The Federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a licensed health care professional.
