"This tri-fold ramp is the best one we have looked at. It's too bad that they have to weigh so much in order to be substantial. It does also take up a little more space than we would like but we have to have that in order to get the motorized scooter where we want it to go. We all need to make sacrifices for those with special needs & all these little things are nothing but worth it! We have used this to get up stairs where there is no ramp as well as getting the scooter into the van without much effort. This ramp is well made & worth the price for what it needs to hold weight wise. -M. B."
"Had to get one of these to enable us to get my mother-in-law into the house for visits. She has to go up two stairs from our garage into the house and it was getting almost impossible to maneuver her in due to her disabilities. It required a minimum of two people to support and guide her and tell her how to move safely to get into the house. I built a short ramp but it wasn't too helpful, ended up too steep. This 8 foot long ramp has a better angle and now we can just keep her in her wheelchair and roll her in and out of the house. The ramp is heavy-duty aluminum construction, very solid, foldable for storage, traction material and side edges for safety. Definitely has been a good purchase for us and I'd recommend it. Be sure to install the upper pins where it hits the doorway to ensure no slippage. -George M."
"Worked great for getting my grandmother inside the house on occasion by rolling her up the ramp in her wheelchair. Ramp is relatively easy to maneuver and carry. Holds a ton of weight and has other uses. I have personally used it to move furniture into the house, including heavy appliances, and moved my lawnmower. -Jonathan M."
