The Suitcase Singlefold Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp is designed to provide the flexibility you need without sacrificing reliable functionality The aluminum construction is resistant to corrosion and rust, durable enough to last through years of use, and the lightweight enough to be carried easily by one person. The singlefold design allows the ramp to close in half, ensuring it takes up minimal space in a car or home when not in use. In conjunction with the integrated and ergonomically-shaped handles, this ramp is comfortable and easy to transport anywhere and everywhere you go.

Two tread options are available: extruded aluminum ribbing and an applied slip-resistant (AS) surface. Both are designed to enhance traction in all directions to ensure users have a firm and steady journey up or down the ramp. Two independently self-adjusting transition plates at the top and bottom of both halves of the ramp ensure the transition between ground and ramp and ramp and car are as smooth and jolt-free as possible; the unique design can even provide secure transitions onto softer terrains like grass or topsoil.

What is the difference between the AS and non-AS?

Answer: The AS ramp has a black, high-strength, applied surface that is textured to provide excellent traction. The non-AS ramp is our standard surface where the slip-resistant tread is extruded into the aluminum.

What are the plates for at the top and bottom of the ramp?

Answer: There is a fixed top transition plate for secure placement with holes for attaching to the supporting surface. There are also two independently adjustable ground transition plates that allow for smoother transfers from ramp-to-ground and ground-to-ramp.

What is the difference between the Suitcase Singlefold ramps and the Suitcase Trifold AS ramp?

Answer: The Suitcase Singlefold ramps fold in half one time and remain the overall length of the ramp when folded. The Trifold AS ramp folds in half and then in half the long way to make the ramp half as long and half as wide when folded.

Are there handrails available with this ramp?

Answer: No, handrails are not included.

How do you keep the ramp from moving?

Answer: Use the provided clevis pins or screws through pre-drilled holes at the top of each section to secure the ramp to the supporting surface.

Easy to use
This ramp allows me the freedom to enter and exit across most thresholds and curbs. The small size and weight allows me to carry it in a bag on my chair
