The Inventis Triangle Portable Audiometer is a state-of-the-art testing device that stands tall above the competition. It's the only audiometer on the market that offers a graphical display with a capacitive touchscreen, a rechargeable lithium battery that lasts for more than 12 hours of uninterrupted use, and bone conduction with masking. This innovative machine tests patients' ability to hear sounds based on the sound's loudness/intensity and tone. The system weighs only 15 oz. and is so lightweight that it can be taken on the go for exams anywhere.

The Triangle Audiometer supports manual testing as well as automatic testing; automatic pure tone audiometry can be performed using one of three protocols: Hughson-Westlake, Quick Search, and Fixed Intensity. The Hughson-Westlake technique uses ascending tone in 5-dB steps. It's based on the idea that short tone bursts are easier to hear against a silent background, as opposed to a continuous tone separated by short intervals. The Quick Search option starts with the minimum selected level and is based on the patient's first response. The Fixed Intensity is a basic screening that's performed at a fixed intensity level.

You can choose to upgrade your Triangle Audiometer with licenses. The Computer Connectivity License enables audiologists to transfer patient exam results to their Maestro or Noah database. The Bone Conduction License allows audiologists to conduct pure tone audiometry using bone conduction; it also allows them to enable masking signals.
